My name is ‘Femi Fajimi, and my healthcare journey began as a Dental Therapist working across government, private, and NGO sectors. I delivered preventive care and oral health education to underserved populations, advocating for awareness and community engagement.
Driven by a more profound desire to understand health more holistically, I later pursued a degree in Medicine and completed a Master’s in Global Public Health in the UK, where I earned the prestigious David Steers Memorial Prize for excellence in postgraduate research. My dissertation focused on migration and oral health, a topic that reflects my long-standing interest in how social and structural factors influence health outcomes.
Throughout my academic and clinical journey, I discovered a passion that ties it all together: writing. Whether I am developing health education materials, supporting clinical documentation, or preparing academic assignments, I find joy in turning complex ideas into explicit, purposeful content.
That passion naturally evolved into an interest in regulatory medical writing, where clarity, structure, and scientific integrity are critical. With a foundation in healthcare delivery, research, and public health, I’m now channelling my experience into this field, eager to contribute meaningfully to clinical development and compliance.
